Based in South West London, Sue is a lifestyle and family photographer, as well as a fine art creator of still life imagery.
Sue captures the beauty in the often-overlooked — whether in the delicate details of her botanical still life compositions or the serene outdoor scenes of nature. Her work blends painterly imagery with a love of flowers and the natural world, weaving light, colour, and texture into evocative moments that invite us to pause, reflect, and consider deeper allegorical themes.
Influenced by the classic techniques of chiaroscuro, using natural light to create atmosphere and depth, harking back to the dramatic interplay of light and shadow in traditional art each image tells a story, evoking emotions and offering a moment of stillness that resonates with contemporary life.
Sue’s achievements include receiving the prestigious Gold Emerging Talent Award in 2021 from the UK Association of Photographers for her still life work. She has also been recognized in various other prominent photographic competitions.
Her work has been exhibited in numerous galleries across London, as well as in Barcelona, Croatia, Budapest, and Kansas, USA.
