Matthew Cattell is an award-winning outdoor photographer with a passion for promoting the natural world through photography, from panoramic vistas down to the details and behaviour of the wildlife on our doorstep.
Photography often takes Matthew to all corners of the UK, however he is also a firm believer in the importance of having projects which are local to home and in particular he has developed a fondness for the Sussex coast during the winter months.
Matthew was crowned the 10th Landscape Photographer of the Year in 2016 with a photograph of the Starling Murmuration over Brighton’s West Pier, a shot which marries seascape photography and wildlife. He has also success in British Wildlife Photography Awards and has had front covers for National Geographic and the Sunday Times Magazine.
Working as a full-time photographer, Matthew offers a range of services including fine art photographic prints, bespoke 1-2-1 and small group photography workshops and public speaking.
